Mr. Rodriguez is a state licensed Private Detective who has many years of investigative experience. After completing high school, Carlos enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served in a top security capacity. After being honorably discharged, Carlos pursued a law enforcement career and attended the University of Illinois, where he earned his law enforcement certification.
While working as a sworn law enforcement officer, Carlos earned many accommodations and awards of excellence for saving lives. Carlos also worked as a Street Gang Crimes Investigator and was very effective in preventing the distribution of narcotics and deadly weapons among the violent street gangs and credited with making the community safer
In his civilian
employment, Carlos’ hard work, dedication and tenacity helped him climb the
corporate ladder where he held executive management positions such Operations
Manager, Executive Vice President and President before venturing off on his own
and becoming the founder, CEO and sole owner and of Total Protection
Consultants, Inc., a full-service Detective agency that specializes in risk
management, public safety, awareness and training. Clients include Government,
fortune 500 corporations, major law firms, insurance companies, school
districts, health care, manufacturing facilities, small business, places of
worship and individual clients.
As Chief
Investigator, Carlos utilizes his many years of training, experience, and
resources to meet his client’s needs. Carlos has conducted several murder,
kidnapping, rape, theft, fraud, robbery, and extortion investigations and has
appeared on ABC 20/20 television regarding a high-profile murder case that led
to the exoneration of an innocent man and the apprehension of the true
perpetrator. His extensive experience enables him to effectively head up all
major investigations, especially those cases that require undercover, covert
surveillance, and sting operations work to uncover and expose theft, fraud,
embezzlement, abuse, and corruption.
Carlos’ passion
is networking with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to
locate, identify and help rescue victims of human trafficking. Carlos leads a
501 C 3, non-profit organization, ‘Operation Restoring Innocence’ that has been
credited with assisting the FBI, Chicago Police Department, and other law
enforcement agencies in the safe recovery of over 100 young victims of
kidnapping and sex trafficking that include victims that were victimized
by R & B, singer, R. Kelly who was charged with multiple federal criminal
charges, found guilty and convicted.
Carlos’ latest
passion is his creation of VIC (Violence in Community) violent crimes task
force that provides services to victims of Domestic Violence. According to the
CDC, one of the leading causes of death among women in the United States is
homicide (with women being murdered at the hands of a domestic partner). In the
United States a woman in is battered or sexually assaulted every 6
seconds.
